Microblading & Semi-Permanent Makeup
Semi-permanent makeup (also known as semi-PMU) applications use tiny needles and various techniques to implant pigments into the skin for a more defined shape.
Microblading
Microblading is a technique using a nano needle pen (technically, a bundle of 12 to 18 needles, 0.18-0.20 mm in diameter) to create the look of real eyebrow hair strokes by depositing pigment into the skin. The needles reach only into the superficial layers of the skin, which is what makes the method semi-permanent (versus permanent, like traditional cosmetic tattoos). Microblading is a great solution for people who have over-plucked their eyebrows, or who have naturally very thin/light eyebrows and want to accentuate the look of eyebrows on their face.
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. There is usually some discomfort during the procedure, so your eyebrows are numbed prior and during to minimize the pain.
Just like a typical skin wound, microblading takes about 7-14 days to heal before you can apply any make up or skin care products on your brows (you can still apply on other areas) and a touch-up may be needed to fill in any imperfections 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
Microblading is not supposed to last several years and will require touch-ups when the pigment begins to fade.
Eyeliner and Lash Line Enhancement
Lash line enhancement is a form of eyeliner on a softer and more natural side, the pigment will be only deposited between the lashes along the eyeliner. Eyeliner is customizable with or without the cute wings. The black pigment will be deposited along the lash line and the top of itit to enhance the density lash line and create a bigger eye, making your eye pop and brighten/awaken your look. The density fades overtime. It could last up to 2-3 years, however. To retain the density and fresh look, an annual touch-up or color boost is recommended. Eyeliner that is 2 years or older will be considered as a new service.
*Important note — lash extensions must be removed beforehand and could be re-applied 10 days after your appointment. Lash lift and tint are acceptable, but must be done no later than 3 days prior to your appointment and at least 10 days after your appointment.
Microshading
Microshading is a combination of hair strokes and the skin between the hair strokes are filled in with powder techniques to create a fuller, fluffier, for perfect shape. It is ideal for those who prefer to see the "hair strokes” , have sparse, uneven brows with coarse hairs and oily, scarring , large pores, mature skin.
Ombre Powder brow
Ombre Powder brow is a semi-permanent brow technique that creates a soft and powdered makeup look that subtly fills in your brow, all the while making it look natural. Powder brow technique uses a digital machine, which allows soft pixels of color to be layered onto the brows to create the perfect and “dense” shape, as opposed to microblading which is more subtle hair strokes.
Ombre powder brow is for anyone who prefers a more dense-looking and perfect shape, and the go-to for those with oily skin/large pores/scarring. The gradient could be customized, whether from top to bottom or front to tail of the brow, and typically lasts longer than microblading.
Collagen Lips Blush
Lip blushing is a form of semi permanent make up (cosmetic tattoo) that could be customizable, enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, leaving a soft wash of tinted lip balm look or lipstick color (lipstick usually fades and smears after eating and needs to be reapplied).
Lip blushing improves both the color and shape of the lips, evens out hyperpigmentation, giving definition, symmetry and the illusion of fullness.
Note: Client who has dark lips might need 1 - 3 lip neutralization session to neutralize the darkness before receiving the lips blush service in order to achieve the look of lips blush.
Client with history of cold sore, herpes, blister must take an antiviral prescription 3 days prior to the procedure appointment to prevent the outbreak of Herpes Simplex.

Medical Considerations
The following medical conditions require special consideration before permanent makeup procedures. Clients with any of these conditions should contact their physician to determine if it will be safe to have a permanent cosmetic procedure. In some cases the cosmetic tattoo artist will ask for a physicians release.
Diabetes. Healing could be compromised, higher risk of infection.
Glaucoma. Increased intraocular pressure combined with pressure placed on the eye to apply eyeliner could be damaging.
Bleeding disorders. Blood disorders that affect clotting such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia, platelet disorders.
Mitral Valve Prolapse, Artificial Heart Valves, Artificial Joints. Any condition that requires prophylactic antibiotics before dental or other procedures will need to take them before micropigmentation also.
Herpes Simplex. People who get fever blisters/cold sores may experience an outbreak after lip procedures. (Please refer to this page for Pre & Post-Care information.)
Antiviral prescription should be taken.
Pregnancy. Procedure should be postponed. Some medications are not to be used while pregnant. If you were to have a problem, this is not a good time to have it. Skin tones are also a little different while pregnant.
Keloid or Hypertrophic Scarring. Persons with tendencies for this type of scarring have that risk with tattooing also.
Use of certain Medications. Accutane/Retin-A, topical steroids can make skin fragile. Physician strength meds/treatments that affect the dermal layer of the skin can affect the permanent make-up. OTC meds/treatments that only affect the epidermis and are not much concern. Anticoagulants (blood thinners), long-term use of aspirin, ibuprofen, and some herbs reduce clotting time resulting in increased bleeding and bruising.
Heart conditions, Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure, Poor general health.
Any treatment, medication, or illness that compromises the immune system/healing would make you NOT a good candidate for micropigmentation procedures.
Lips that have been injected with fillers may not hold color well.
Please take risks seriously. Every possible complication does not happen every time. Just because it did not happen to your friend does not mean it will not happen to you. Just because it did not happen to you last time does not mean it will not happen to you this time. On the bright side, just because it happened last time doesn't mean it will happen next time. Hopefully you will choose a well-trained professional for your permanent makeup procedure who is knowledgeable and can identify complications in their early stages to direct you to the appropriate treatment.
